Negishi Biography Airs on Big Ten Network
A video profile of 2010 Nobel Laureate Ei-ichi Negishi was seen nationwide on cable/satellite television on May 17th at 5pm on the Big Ten Network. The program is a biography of Dr. Negishi covering his childhood in Asia, early years in the U.S., connection to Professor H.C. Brown, the science of Negishi coupling, and his current research in the Department of Chemistry. Videotaped here on campus, the program featured several Purdue Chemistry faculty/alums, Negishi family/friends, and familiar sites around the Purdue campus.
