(1)    Sabre Kais has been elected as a Fellow of the American Physical Society through the Division of Chemical Physics. The citation reads:  "For the development of a finite size scaling approach to calculate quantum critical parameters for atomic,
molecular and quantum dot systems."

 

(2)    Mary Nakhleh has been elected as an American Association for the Advancement of Science Fellow “for distinguished contributions to science education through research on students’ understanding of the particle nature of matter, and the application of this research to instruction.”
