Coral Setup and Usage Instructions
To gain access to Coral, the on-line reservation system for campus instrumentation facilities, your PI needs to set up an account and enter you into the system.
Go to this website: https://engineering.purdue.edu/CORAL
On the right side, have your PI click on Coral Access (PI Only) and complete the form. Your PI should enter your Career account name.
Once you are entered into the system, email Pat Bishop and she will activate you for the instruments for which you’ve been trained.
Once activated (this may take a few days), you can access Coral from the same website as above. Click on Start Coral.
Enter your Career Account and password.
Click on Chemistry Instrumentation Facility.
Click on the room where the instrument is located.
Click on the instrument.
To make a reservation, highlight the time block you want and then under Reservation Actions, select Make.
