Cancer Cell Culture • Flow Cytometry Lab

Training students to grow cancer cells at Biosafety Level 2 utilizing sterile technique and analyze treated cells via flow cytometry for individual research needs.

Brown Chemistry Building - Room 3125

Hours

Monday - Friday
9:30am - 5:30pm

Using Facility

  • Active Cell Culture Lab Membership required.*
  • CHP and PPE Training required.
  • Online BSL-2 and Handling Human Cell Lines (through REM web site) included in training.
  • Contact the manager directly to schedule training.
  • Upon completion of training, students may use instruments independently for their experiments.

* Faculty should arrange method of payment through the manager and Chemistry Business Office.

Rates

  • 12 month
    - Chemistry affiliation: $4000
    - External affiliation: $5000
  • 6 month
    - Chemistry affiliation: $2000
    - External affiliation: $2500
  • Cell culture training only
    - Chemistry affiliation: $500
    - External affiliation: $600
  • Autoclave training only
    - Chemistry affiliation: no charge
