Recalls.gov appears to be a pretty good "one stop shopping" for info about market withdrawals, recalls, safety alerts and warnings.  The "food" tab in the picture below is red because I was looking at the food section when I took the screen shot.

Many of us have in many ways come to take safety for granted.  The safety of our foods and drinks, the safety of our tools and cars, the safety of our homes and appliances.

  1. Why exactly is it that we take these things for granted? 
  2. Is it foolish, lazy, naive....?

Just rhetorical questions, think about them.
