IOSHA = Indiana Occupational Safety and Health Administration

WHAT IS IT?  Indiana version of OSHA.  States wishing to have their own occupational health and safety agencies and regulations are allowed to do so, and they receive Federal monies to administer them.  Many states have their own "EPA" and their own "OSHA" although they do not always use those names.

State agencies are not allowed to create regulations which are LESS strict than Federal regulations, but they are allowed to make them more strict if they choose.  Indiana occupational safety and helth regulations are pretty much the same as the Federal regs.
