As of 2011, no fire extinguisher training is offered via CHM 605. Too few people were demonstrating that they were trained by doing it correctly, suggesting that 605 "training" was not adequate. 

• WTHR has been fully sprinklered since the late 80s.  BRWN, finished in 1973, was minimally sprinklered until 2009, then fully upgraded.  RHPH sprinklers installed around 2001 years ago?  CHME?  How about your apartment?

• Extensive automatic detection and/or protection systems exist, but not enough to completely obviate the need for human involvement!
