Required Information 3 of 3

The 4th and 5th of the five "required information" points:
  • Signs and Symptoms of Exposure   to your hazardous chemicals

Signs and symptoms of exposure differ depending on the chemicals.  You, and/or your supervisor, and/or your department's safety committee, are to make sure that you have been thoroughly informed.

  • Exposure Limits for your hazardous chemicals

OSHA PELs ares available in the 1910.1000 lists Z-1, Z-2, and Z-3.   The ACGIH publishes "threshold limit values" for some of the same chemicals, and for numerous other chemicals, and these values must also be communicated as part of staff training information.  You, and/or your supervisor, and/or your department's safety committee, are responsible for ensuring that specific information is given pertaining to the chemicals in your workplace
