It is not possible (or necessary) for REM to do every bit of this training for all workers for all of their work and time at Purdue. It is not required that anyone take the REM training unless a Department or supervisor requires it. Many Departments prefer to require some or all of the REM training. But it is possible for the REM training to cover all of a worker's immediate chemical safety training requirements if the worker carefully follows the instructions for completing the training and information forms described here: |

If you have not completed (1)(a) and (1)(b) before completing the sign-up form below, or if you do not complete and submit the information below carefully, you will not be registered for the session and you will not be permitted to attend. If you have completed both (1)(a) and (1)(b), continue down this page. The 110-min meeting sessions are held in WTHR 560 unless other arrangements have been made (you would be notified in this case). Know how to find it. The sessions offered at this time appear here, green background cells. They are often cancelled if no one signs up by 15 days before, and once in a while they are rescheduled if only one person registers.) |
Note that the sessions are 110 minutes, and usually fit between scheduled class times. If you cannot fit any of the shown times into your schedule, please follow the instructions for completing the ScheduleCard below. Groups of 5 - 10 are ideal, but "groups of one" are not uncommon.
IF A "FRONT PAGE ERROR" or a "SERVER ERROR" occurs, write swihart@purdue.edu immediately please.
