You said YES to the question " Do you, or are you at all likely to at any time to, have need of any Personal Protective Equipment aside from your normal clothes and shoes?   (Such as gloves, welding shades, safety glasses, safety shoes, apron, hard hat, sleeve covers....)"

And you said NO to the question "Does your work or research include laboratory use of chemicals?"

INITIAL TRAINING (at time of beginning employment):

1. Complete the HCP online reading exercise. Complete the "Comprehensive" training if you use chemicals in a non-lab way, e.g. paint, floor care products, pesticides, cleaners, laquers.... in larger quantities and duration/frequency than you would in your home. Complete the "Awareness" training if you use (non-lab) chemicals in quantities, duration, and frequencies similar to home and consumer use. For example dish detergent for washing up after lunch, or labeling something with a Sharpie marker.

2. Complete the PPE online reading exercises (will open a new window) for all PPE you will or might use.  Follow all instructions at the exercise. 

3. Complete the BEP online training exercises (will open a new window)

REFRESHER TRAINING ANNUALLY -- complete all online reading exercises 1., 2., and 3., above every first quarter (Jan - Mar) and submit forms to Paul Bower WTHR 173 .

Keep a copy for your records, and submit a copy to Paul Bower in WTHR 173.
