CHM 599A  will be offered in Fall semester (on Tues & Thurs 3:00 to 4:15 PM). 

The course is intended for both graduate and undergraduate students.  It will be held in a computer lab to introduce the students to computational tools for analyzing Genes and Proteins.    

The topics covered in the course will include:

•  Routes for accessing the biological databases through the web.

• An overview of resources available at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at NIH. 

• An overview of the GCG sequence analysis software offered by the Genome facility at Purdue University.
