Physical Chemistry On-line (PCOL) is a multiuniversity, multi-faculty effort to carry out physical chemistry projects on-line. One goal is to allow students to work collaboratively from remote sites. Since its inception in the Fall of 1996, there have been 5 different projects carried out on-line. The project was recently given the National Science Teacher's Association's Gustav Ohaus Award for College Level Innovations.
