Alex Dow

About Me

Originally from Portland, I graduated from American University in 2010 with a B.S. in chemistry and joined Dr. Kenttämaa’s group in the spring of 2011. My current research is on further characterizing laser-induced acoustic desorption (LIAD), a soft desorption technique developed by our group. During my free time I enjoy playing Magic: The Gathering, tennis, League of Legends, and trying out new cooking recipes.
