Benjamin C. Owen

About Me

I am a fourth year analytical PhD candidate in HIK labs.  My research focuses on the development of mass spectrometric methodologies and instrumentation for the direct characterization of complex mixtures, such as biofuels, and the structural elucidation of their components.  I received my undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Springfield in 2008.  In my free time I enjoy running, traveling and riding horses.
