Cancer and Inflammatory Diseases
Group
We are investigating targeted drug therapies with high affinity ligands to treat cancer and autoimmune diseases (see cartoon below). Included in this research are projects aimed at characterizing: i) the synthesis of new drug compounds, ii) the affinity, efficiency, and kinetics of drug delivery, iii) the development of animal models for in vivo experimentation, and iv) disease detection and diagnosis of human pathogens.
