Kheng is currently doing his postdoc at the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington.

His graduate research project is to minimize the effect of experimental variables in the determination of DNA by predictive kinetic method. The experiment involves DNase degradation of DNA-ethidium bromide complex in both solution and agarose gel and kinetic predictive curve fitting of the decay fluorescent signal. The CCD camera system used for experiments in agarose gel is shown in the picture.
