The research in our group aims at developing new methods and instrumentation for characterizing biomolecules and studying their gas-phase ion chemistry using mass spectrometry. The current research focuses include gas-phase approach to study modifications of biomolecules initiated by free radicals, instrumentation and method development for improving the sensitivity of tandem mass spectrometry, and studies on the energetic and dynamics of ion formation during electrospray ionization. |
