This site provides images that accompany your crystal structure laboratory.
Your textbook shows images of unit cells, images that represent the arrangement of atoms or ions in a crystal.
An image of the unit cell of CsCl is shown to the left. The image shown is a spacefilling model of the unit cell; the ions are shown full size with respect to the unit cell. It may be easier to see the arrangement of all atoms or ions in a unit cell if it is drawn as a "ball and stick" image with small spheres indicating the locations of atoms and sticks showing unit cell edges or the relative positions of the cell's contents.
