The LabNet Website was developed in order to deal with the problem of ineffective recitation sections for our Physical Chemistry laboratory course. Recitation material is put on the Web using a variety of multimedia technologies such as MPEG movies, animated gifs and Chime 3-D molecules. The site is used to provide students with realistic pre-lab preparation. Students not only get theoretical background via the site, but they can also examine their instrumentation and simulate their experiments before they actually step into the lab.
