Purdue will be officially closed from Thursday, December 22, 2016, at 5 p.m. ET until Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at 8 a.m. ET for all non-essential personnel.

Check with your research advisor for holiday break safety planning. Be sure to unplug electronics that will not be used during the break to protect in case of a power outage.  Also, make sure any personal items of value are safely stored and locked.

Per the terms of their employment in the chemistry department, all graduate students are expected to return to work by Tuesday, January 3, 2017 (one week before the beginning of Spring 2017 semester classes on Jan 9).
