Does your work or research include laboratory use of chemicals?  NOTES: Professors and others who supervise research staff engaged in lab use of chemicals should take the "yes" path here, even if they do not often--or ever--use chemicals themselves. Laboratory use is defined in 29 CFR 1910.1450 commonly called the OSHA Laboratory Standard. A person teaching a lab course or section thereof is not engaged in laboratory use of chemicals unless other work, such as their research, involves the laboratory use of chemicals.
