Now we should be down to the people who are NOT new grad students entering in August, and who either do not use chemicals, or use chemicals in a non-laboratory manner, e.g. paints, thinners, cleaners, degreasers, epoxies, waxes, strippers....  

The question is:  

This is Department of Chemistry policy only, not for other dept use only. 

 

Do you, or are you at all likely to at any time, have need of any Personal Protective Equipment aside from your normal clothes and shoes?   (Such as gloves, safety glasses, lab coat, hard hat, sleeve covers....)

       

 

(If you use any chemicals more hazardous than water, i.e. paint, cleaners, toilet bowl cleaner, paint, thinner... even dishwashing liquid.... you probably have to say YES here.  AT PURDUE, by the way, we're talking about what you do at Purdue, as a student and/or as an employee, not about your hobbies or any of the things you do on your own time.)
