Getting Help*

Purdue University, Fall 2005
WebCT

There are many sources of help available to answer your questions about the material as well as the policies for CHM 123.

The General Chemistry Office:   BRWN 1144  (phone:  4-5250)

The General Chemistry Office is "information central" or the "customer service" office for the CHM 1xx level courses.

The General Chemistry Office is the place to go to complete an absence form or inquire about test-out exams and study guides.  If you have a problem or question that cannot be answered by your graduate instructor, go to the General Chemistry Office for assistance.   If the personnel in the office cannot answer your questions, they can help get the information to the person who can answer the questions.

During lab times, the assistant course supervisor is often in the General Chemistry Office and can help answer your questions.

The CHM 123 course supervisor [Ms. Srinivasan, srinivs@purdue.edu] will be available in the General Chemistry Office during CHM 123 lab times.

Questions about course content, however, are best directed to a member of the instructional team, that is, the professor,  graduate instructors , course supervisor or the Chemistry Resource Room.

CHM 123 Bulletin Board

The Chemistry 123 bulletin board  is in the corridor adjacent to BRWN 1135. Periodically we will post course information there.

Each student will be able to get a printouts of his/her personal record of cumulative scores from the appropriate WebCT course.  This information will not be posted on any bulletin board.
