Microfluidic Probe for High Throughput Imaging of Biological Samples
We have developed an integrated microfluidic nano-DESI MSI probe, iMFP, for high throughput imaging of biological tissues. The geometry of the iMFP has been optimized to enable efficient extraction of molecules from the sample at high scan rates and provide stable ion signal. The iMFP is easy to operate and align in front of a mass spectrometer, which will facilitate broader use of liquid-extraction-based MSI in biological research, drug discovery, and clinical studies.
