Laboratory for Materials Chemistry and Heterogeneous Catalysis

Welcome to the Li Group in the Chemistry Department at Purdue University! We are a group of materials and inorganic chemists focused on developing molecular insight into materials properties. We develop new synthetic methods for molecularly-precise materials, utilize spectroscopy and microscopy to characterize materials at an atomic level, and study these materials in a variety catalytic and optoelectronic applications.

 

Postdoctoral Position: Heterogeneous Organic Catalysis

A postdoctoral position is available in Professor Christina Li’s research group at Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN). The candidate will develop selective organic transformations catalyzed by metal alloy nanoparticles. 

Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related discipline
• Experience in organic methodology or synthesis

No experience in materials chemistry is required for this position.
