Professor Sabre Kais has been awarded U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) funding to advance  work in quantum information and  computing.  The PI Kais is part of a Purdue team including Yong Chen, Libai Huang, and Dimitry Zemlyanov in collaboration with the University of Chicago team David Mazziotti   and  John Anderson.  The nearly $2.5 million award spans three years and is for “Quantum Computing Algorithms and Applications for Coherent and Strongly Correlated Chemical Systems.”  DOE Grant: “Quantum Computing Algorithms and Applications for Coherent and Strongly Correlated Chemical Systems.”  DOE NewsPurdue News.
