Socratic reasoning is imbedded in Chemistry thinking. This problem-solving process has served me well throughout my career. A good chemist is probably a professional skeptic. I may not have been the best chemist but my training as a skeptic has been an invaluable asset.
Purdue turns out a well-rounded student with excellent training in a discipline of choice. When that discipline is Chemistry there are a plethora of specialty directions a student can take or choose a broader education.
