Development Engineer, American Breast Care
I’m originally from South Bend, Indiana, home of Notre Dame. While I was accepted to IU, I chose Purdue for its strong science and engineering programs—and it was the perfect choice.
One of my favorite experiences at Purdue was joining the Women in Science Program (WISP). It was truly inspiring!
After braving Purdue’s freezing winters, I knew I needed to move South. Now, I work at a company in Georgia, developing materials and processes for external breast prosthetics. I even have several patents for my breast prosthesis innovations to help women live fuller lives after breast surgery.
Even with just a Bachelor’s in Chemistry, people are impressed when they hear it’s from Purdue—though in the South, some mistake it for the Perdue chicken folks!
