Shepson awarded by AGU
2012-01-06
Professor Paul Shepson was honored as a fellow of the American Geophysical Union at the 2011 Fall AGU Meeting in San Francisco. He was honored for “exceptional creativity in the study of the atmospheric chemistry of isoprene and of the role of snow and ice surfaces in the atmospheric chemistry of the Arctic.”
Earth and Atmospheric Sciences Department Head Jon Harbor says that only one in a thousand members is elected to fellowship status each year. "This is a well-deserved honor and brings great visibility to Purdue and to all that Professor Shepson has achieved," Harbor said.
