Professor R. Graham Cooks achieves research milestones
2024-11-25
Graham Cooks, the Henry B. Hass Distinguished Professor of Chemistry, recently achieved several research citation landmarks.
One measure of the impact of a scientist is citation of their work. A ‘magic number’ in citations is 100,000, which Cooks recently surpassed.
A second measure that combines numbers of citation and numbers of publications is the h-index - the number of publications that have been cited that number of times. Graham Cooks’ h-index is 150, meaning that 150 of his publications have been cited at least 150 times.
