Rudolph Autopol III S2 Polarimeter

The polarimeter measures the optical activity of inorganic and organic compounds. Plane-polarized light is passed through a solution containing the compound of interest and the rotation of the light is measured. The degree of rotation is dependent on the structure and concentration of chiral molecules in solution.
