TA Instruments SDT Q600 TGA / DSC

Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) is used to study phase transitions, decomposition, combustion, and other temperature induced physical and chemical phenomena. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) is used to measure heat capacity, melting point, glass and phase transition temperatures. The SDT Q600 can be used for DSC measurements above 450°C.

For DSC measurements between -50°C and 450°C and reversible temperature measurements please use the Perkin-Elmer Jade DSC!

Users need to provide alumina or platinum pans for their measurements! Please contact Dr. Hartmut Hedderich for further information.
