Bristol-Myers-Squib is hosting a Career Opportunities Showcase to highlight research opportunities for graduate students and post-docs in Chemistry. This event on May 9, 2024, from 11am-12pm will be hybrid, including in-person discussion / meet&greet on the IU campus or participation virtually by zoom (see link and details below). ALL graduate students and post-docs interested in possible future career opportunities in BMS are welcome to participate!

Pfizer's medicinal chemistry departments in Groton, CT and Cambridge, MA are looking to fill multiple positions. Recently, Pfizer demonstrated the power of its medicinal chemistry organization to discover Nirmatrelvir and deliver Paxlovid for COVID patients. They continue this quest of putting patients first in their pursuit of finding new drugs. They intend to review their first cohort of applications in 1-2 weeks.

2024 DuPont GOLD Seminar Competition

Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry
The Department of Chemistry at the University of Evansville invites applications for a visiting assistant professor of chemistry. Expected teaching duties include introductory courses as well as possible offerings in the applicant’s area of expertise. The successful candidate is expected to have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and an M.S. or a Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field is preferred.
The applicant must complete the online application. Please upload a cover letter, a vita, and unofficial transcripts as a single pdf to the appropriate section of the online application. Additionally, three letters of recommendation should be sent to Dr. Kristy Miller, Chair, Department of Chemistry, University of Evansville. Only electronic submissions will be considered.
