Frequently Asked Questions - Symposiums

The Symposium on Graduate Research provides a great introduction to our research and academic programs. We encourage all admitted students to attend this event. We will provide assistance in travel and pay local expenses for rooms and meals.

Coffee with Chemists -- a regular informal event sponsored by the Professional Development Committee of GSAB; students talk informally to a PhD chemist about their career pathway and their daily life in their current career (e.g., industrial chemist, academic chemist, national lab scientist, lawyer, consultant, pharmaceutical specialist, regulatory affairs specialist, and more), WTHR 360

To assist students with transportation from the Holiday Inn Downtown to campus, a van will be leaving the hotel at 11:40, 12:40, 1:40, 2:40, and 3:40.
