High Throughput Experimentation (HTE) Catalysis Center

High Throughput Experimentation (HTE) Catalysis Center

The High Throughput Experimentation (HTE) Center at Purdue University accelerates the execution and analysis of chemical reactions for the purpose of discovering new transformations, optimizing catalysts systems and reaction conditions, evaluating the scopes of transformations, and synthesizing compound libraries. The experimental platform uses 24- and 96-well plates to execute large numbers of reactions in parallel. The facility houses a suite of analytical instruments, including LCMS, GCMS, and SFC, for the detection of new products and accurate determination of reaction conversions, yields and enantioselectivities. The center brings together researchers across Purdue's campus interested in using modern tools to accelerate the process of chemical synthesis.
