Sample Submission

Purdue Users

Submit Sample

Sample submission is via our online portal, iLab. Log in and follow the instructions to submit a service request.

External Users

External users can fill out the external client submission form. Note: Don't forget to print out your completed sample submission form and bring it to the lab along with your samples.

Rates

Rates vary based on client affiliation. HRMS analysis is billed on a per sample basis. ICP-MS and CHN analysis are billed on a per run basis where per sample costs decrease as the number of samples submitted increases. Microwave digestion of samples submitted for ICP-MS analysis can be performed if necessary. See our Rates page for more details.

Samples

NOTE:  Researchers with new elemental analysis projects should contact Dr. Ryan Hilger (rhilger1@purdue.edu) prior to bringing samples!

Samples for analysis should be placed on the shelves outside BRWN 3144.  Questions regarding submitted samples should be directed to:
