Fire suppression sprinkler locations in BRWN

[Copied from info received from Safety and Security on 12/10/97.  Pictures added, mistakes possible (some of the description difficult to interpret.]

Flow 1  Inspector test in B143B in ceiling hatch.  Flow in corridor at LB144.  Areas sprinkled are B143, B147, B151, B155A.  Total heads 27.  Flow 1 only has a shut off valve in the corridor near the flow switch.  The shut-offs for the rest of the systems is the main control in LB144.  Chained and padlocked with padlock 3964.  Flow switches are notifier type.

Flow 2  Inspector test at NE ceiling in B180 (key 515875).  Flow at SW ceiling of B178.  Area sprinkled is B178, B180.  Total heads 13.

Flow 3   Inspector test in 1182 ceiling near outside door NEED HOSE.  Flow in corridor near room 1170.  Area sprinkled room 1182.  Total heads 5.

Flow 4  Inspector test in 1155 near hood.  Flow in corridor at elevator.  Areas sprinkled rooms 1155 and janitor room in 1145.  Total heads 10.

Flow 5  Inspector test south wall of room 2151A.  Flow in corridor outside of room 2151.  Areas sprinkled are 2151, 2155, 2155A, and janitor room 2145.  Total heads 31.

Flow 6  Inspector test in room 3155 near hood.  Flow in corridor near 3151.  Areas sprinkled are 3155, 3155A, and janitor room 3145.  Total heads 11.

Flow 7  Inspector test in room 4144.  Flow in corridor at room 4151.  Area sprinkled in janitor room 4145.  Total heads 1.

Flow 8  Inspector test in penthouse near floor at east side of east elevator NEED HOSE.  Flow in corridor on 5th floor at ceiling near 5150.  Area sprinkled is 5155 and 5145.

TO DRAIN THESE SYSTEMS USE THE HOSE CABINET VALVE IN THE SUB BASEMENT AND DRAIN TO CUSTODIAN SINK.
